All My Sons London tickets

Directed by Ivo van Hove, and playing a strictly limited season at the Wyndham’s Theatre, Bryan Cranston, Paapa Essiedu, and Marianne Jean-Baptiste star in Arthur Miller’s All My Sons.

All My Sons, Miller’s 1947 masterwork - and his first ever play - is a gripping exploration of family, loyalty, and the cost of the American dream.

Inspired by real events in the aftermath of World War II, Respected, self-made businessman Joe Keller prides himself on providing for his wife and their two sons. However, as secrets long buried begin to surface and Joe’s son goes missing, Peacetime brings little peace of mind.

Confronted by the consequences of his actions Joe must ask himself, what is he willing to sacrifice for success?

London Productions — Fun Facts

1. Laurence Olivier and the First London Run (1948)

The first major London production opened at the Aldwych Theatre in 1948, just a year after the Broadway debut.

It starred Ralph Richardson as Joe Keller and was directed by Laurence Olivier — who was also the artistic director of the Old Vic at the time.

The production helped establish Arthur Miller’s reputation in the UK as one of the great American dramatists.

2. National Theatre Revival (2019)

The most recent high-profile London revival was at the Old Vic Theatre in 2019.

It starred Bill Pullman as Joe Keller and Sally Field as Kate Keller — both Hollywood icons making major London stage appearances.

The production was directed by Jeremy Herrin, known for People, Places & Things and This House.

It was live broadcast to cinemas worldwide via National Theatre Live, giving global audiences access to the performance.
